Rockford Powertrain ® Division offers enhanced

business experience via e-commerce website

With robust e-commerce functionality, the new site drives against two objectives: First, to provide a smoother, faster, more convenient way for every level of customer to locate and acquire the company's Mechanics ® series of heavy-duty, off-highway drivelines and components. Second, the site is designed to provide Mechanics DSP with real-time transactional information for the tight control of logistics and scheduling needed to improve processing and production efficiencies, and ultimately to reduce costs.

Initially, the site is carrying new Mechanics® series of heavy-duty, off-highway drivelines and components, ranging from 1310 to 1810 which are directly interchangeable with common industry

sizes and which are typically found in a variety of on- and off-highway applications. The Mechanics series round bearing line features precision balancing, nylon-coated splines and industry-standard materials.

In the near future, the website's product offering will expand to include Mechanics wing-style components and universal joints. All Mechanics DSP components are manufactured to the strictest industry standards.
